Erik resides in Grimes. He is a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Erik works for a local bank and is a graduate of Drake University Law School. He is the President of the Grimes Lions club and a board member of the Des Moines Young Variety. Erik participates in the operation of the seventh generation family farm in the district.
